General Contracting

With a Class B general building license as well as Class A, we can run a whole project, such as an ADU or an addition, under one responsible contractor. We build to the approved drawings from your designer, and every change is documented in a written work order. On a septic property, we check whether the system can support the ADU before you commit to the design.

Who it's for

  • Homeowners building an ADU, addition or rebuild with plans from their designer
  • Owners on septic who need the system evaluated before an ADU

How the work goes

  1. Send the approved or in-progress drawings, and we price the work trade by trade.
  2. On a septic lot, we start with the County OWTS evaluation.
  3. We supervise the site, sequence the trades and manage quality to the drawings.
  4. Every added item is documented in a written work order before it is built.

What drives the cost

  • The drawings and the finish level
  • Owner-supplied items, such as windows and doors, and the allowances
  • Site work and foundations, which we self-perform
  • Permit and agency fees, which the owner pays directly

What we do differently

Class B general building license.

Common questions

Can my septic system support an ADU or an addition?

That takes a County OWTS evaluation, which goes further than a basic septic inspection. The County looks at whether the system can carry the added use and may ask for a future expansion area. Start the evaluation before you commit to the ADU design, so the septic answer shapes the plans.
