A second-generation Los Angeles contractor.
Our founder, Jaime F. Prieto, started the company in Los Angeles in 1978 as a driveway contractor. He grew it with his son, Giulliano J. Prieto, one division at a time, as clients asked us to take on more of their projects with our own crews.
Today we self-perform septic, underground utilities, drainage, caissons and shoring, concrete, masonry, asphalt and right-of-way work across Los Angeles County and the surrounding counties.
Rooted in Los Angeles, on purpose
Our office, shop and yard are on Alhambra Avenue, close to the heart of Los Angeles. We chose that spot for a reason. The 5, 10, 110 and 710 freeways are minutes from the yard, so our crews can reach almost any part of the region by more than one route. Most mornings, rush-hour traffic is heading into the city while our trucks are heading out, so crews and equipment get to your site on schedule.
Who you'll work with
Giulliano J. Prieto is our Senior Construction Project Engineer and VP of Project Management. He has grown the company alongside our founder, Jaime F. Prieto, and he plans and prices our projects and writes the guides on our blog. Our technical work is the contractor's means and methods: on projects with a design team, the architect and Engineer of Record design, and we build to their plans with our own crews and equipment.
